Chronic stress can : lead to pregnancy complications, but it does not cause a subchorionic bleed in the first trimester. Especially since you have the added stress of having to wait to know the significance of the bleeding along with the normal grieving process, it would be wise to seek therapy pro-actively, so as not to develop chronic anxiety or depression.
