See A Podiatrist: The pain can be caused by several things including tendonitis, plantar fasciitis or a soft tissue mass in the plantar fascia ligament among other causes. Since it has been a while and hasn't improved, i would recommend visiting a podiatrist to determine the actual cause and get it taken care of before it gets worse. It is most likely a quick fix.
