Will accutane 10mg daily work for mild acne?

Better options: It's unwise to self-medicate with isotretinoin / accutane. There are precautions, even if pregnancy is not a possibility, and it's unpleasant. I see you're a male. Topical benzoyl peroxide as tolerated will probably be less unpleasant overall and if this does not clear you, adding a short course of a systemic antibiotic such as tetracycline probably will. Manage it till it self-cures with age.

Accutane: Accutane is only for the most severe form of nodulocystic acne. isotretinoin is a dangerous chemotherapy drug, which is why it requires a 17 page consent and regular blood work to monitor your liver. Also, acne is not due to an infection, it is due to androgenic stimulation of sebaceous glands, resulting in blockage and comedone formation. Seek good extraction and non-drying skin care regimen.
