A member asked:

I had a partial thyroidectomy on my left and right thyroid about 6 weeks ago. but i still feel dizzy and easily exhausted, is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be, see your MD: Why did you have the partial thryoidectomy? If you have residual thyroid tissue, you probably have some natural thyroid hormone in the body. You should have your thyroid level checked and see if it is normal. Most thryoid hormone replacement is a T4 replacement. Some people don't feel completely normal with just T4 and need T3 (liothyronine) replacement as well. I would give it a little more time if nl levels.
