I was bitten several years ago on my lower leg just above the ankle, its still bruised even after all these years. should i see a doctor ?

Yes: for some reason, it is not healing properly. if it really is a bruise and not just a scar, there may not be adequate blood flow to the area. moreover, at this point several years later, you may need a skin graft to fill in the defect/bruise. your doctor can determine this by examining the area.
