If it works: Corgard (nadolol) and propranolol are both beta blockers. Corgard (nadolol) has a much longer duration than propranolol thus given once daily.Both are good for SVT if it is working for you. If not and you are still having attacks,then there other medications available that are more effective such as Flecainide. It is not advisable to change meds when it is working regardless wether one is more potent than the other
