A wee bit high: Creatinine is a function of muscle mass and the extent to which one's kidneys have suffered wear-and-tear. When I was lifting weights every day, mine ran 1.6-1.8 which was perfectly fine. I'd rather a lady's stay below 1.1 until she's elderly -- everybody's kidney function tapers as we age -- and if she's hypertensive, she needs to manage it. A workup's probably not indicated otherwise.

Elevated: Speak with your doctor about this level. It is important to figure out if you were dehydrated when the labs were drawn. If this is so drink more water and reheck you level. Consider increasing the fluids without caffeine especially on days you exercise. Avoid all the protein drinks and supplements many athletes take. If no improvement consider seeing a nephrologist and control your diabetes.
