Infection: There are several risks with any surgery and as you may know for hip replacement the benefits far outweigh the risks.That said,risks include Blood clots. Clots can form in your leg veins after surgery. Infection. Infections can occur at the site of your incision and in the deeper tissue near your new hip. Fracture. Dislocation. Change in leg length. Loosening can also occur.so discuss with your MD
