Not Likely: Only if the tooth was not swallowed and got stuck or it went intoyour respiratory tract and you aspirated it instead of swallowing it. Otherwise, if it can pass into your stomach, it will just come out with the poop. ;)

Probably OK: Unless the tooth was badly damaged, and had sharp edges, it should pass intact. You'll have to check your stool for the next few days to make sure it does. If not, call your Physician. But why did you have a loose tooth in your mouth? Permanent teeth should not loosen and fall out. Please call your Dentist. If child swallows tiny crown of baby tooth will pass OK.
