Nexplanon: Nexplanon is a progesterone only contraceptive. Abnormal bleeding, whether it is bleeding everyday or no bleeding at all, is the major side effect. Failure with the device would be rare.

Very effective: Nexplanon is the MOST effective method of contraception available (other than abstinence). It is more than 99% effective in preventing pregnancy.
