Academic difficulty: Some of the core symptoms of ADHD such as inattention, forgetfulness, difficulty following directions, inability to focus, and hyperactivity make schoolwork very challenging for some people with this disorder. Not only do they have difficulty with grades, they often time have interpersonal problems with their peers and teachers.

Need evaluation: In order to determine what is causing your difficulty you should consult a neuropsychologist for assessment. If this is a new issue, you should contact your doctor to rule out a medical problem such as thyroid disease.
