Very vigorous ones: While a few patients can return to full activities, this usually means moderate stress activities. Getting back to full time competitive sports is also possible, but many athletes find they can't perform at the high degree of performance that they had prior to the injury that led to their operation. There is no harm done by trying vigorous activity, but endurance may be limited.
