Tsh came 56 doc started levothyroxine. having severe constipation and rectal bleeding & pain since then. what should i do now before i get to my gp?

Constipation: Hi. Your constipation is probably a result of your hypothyroidism, and should improve a lot as your thyroid function returns to normal on the l-thyroxine. In the meantime, get plenty of fluids and fiber in the diet. You could consider a stool softener like docusate sodium. Good luck!
