Doc,pls i was exposd to perfumes 2weeks ago which left me with catarrh, gone now but left with a severe cough. i'm ttc pls what drug can i use 4 cough?

Reactive airways: Sensitivities to fragrances and other chemicals can trigger a variety of allergy type symptoms. A prolonged cough after such an exposure is suspicious for reactive airways ( bronchoconstriction and excess mucous production). This type of cough requires specific Rx medications (inhaled albuterol and possibly steroids) but may improve some with Zyrtec, (cetirizine) an over the counter allergy medicine.
