Amylase and lipase: Amylase and lipase are the most commonly used blood tests to diagnose acute pancreatitis. Patients with pancreatitis also usually have severe abdominal pain and abnormal CT scans.

CT scan is best.: There are a few blood tests, such as amylase, lipase, and complete blood count which give us some information about the pancreas. However, the best way to rule out pancreatitis is with a CT scan. If that has been read as normal, it is unlikely that you have acute or chronic pancreatitis. If your pain persists, see your doctor or get a referral to a gastroenterologist for further workup. Good luck.
