?: How high is high? A higher blood pressure is normal when you are active. I wouldn't be too concerned about developing an aneurysm at your age. Aneurysms take a very long time to develop after years of untreated hypertension. You are on metropolol which is very useful. If you still are hypertensive on metoprolol then perhaps a dosage adjustment or additional medication is needed.
