Possibly: If you are referring to topical Minoxidil or Rogaine (minoxidil) for women , it can be used safely for long term. This medicine unless you are allergic is well tolerated as local itching, irritation can happen to some people. Because it is over the counter these medicines tend to be safer than prescription medicines. Good luck and see your doctor for more concerns.
