Brain pain?: Actually, there are no sensory nerves in your brain. (if during neurosurgery, while you were awake, the doctor scooped out a tablespoon of your brain, you would feel nothing.) thus your pain probably reflects muscle tension and/or scalp inflammation on one side of your head. You have a muscle that stretches from the back of your neck to your forehead that is common site for muscle tension headache.
