Mycin antibiotics: Clindamycin is an antibiotic that alters colon bacteria and can trigger CDIFF associated diarrhea. Azithromycin is different. It does not affect colon bacteria. Also these two come from different antibiotic classes. So, allergic cross reactions are very rare. Knowing what your intolerance was would help.
