Shift work is: very taxing on most people - not to mention a pregnant woman. Do you have prolonged standing during your job ? Pelvic and back pain can occur during pregnancy but if your pain is so severe that it is causing you to cry I would call your obstetrician for further guidance now.

Pregnancy pain: Long shifts with standing at 32-33 weeks pregnant can cause back pain secondary to the increased forward center of gravity and strain on back muscles and tendons. See your obstetric physician if this continues. It is unlikely to mean uterine contractions, but this needs to be checked by a professional.
