Some issues: First, you have diabetes, and the steroids WILL increase your blood sugars. Secondly, repetitive steroids will increase risk of osteoporosis, avascular necrosis of hip, shoulder, or knee, cataracts or glaucoma, and many other side effects. Would not advise this approach more than twice yearly, and even then, limit to a few days.
