Talk to your doctor: Speak with the doctor who prescribed your Zoloft (sertraline) if you do not feel it is helping with the problem. Stop, asking friends, who mean well, but are not privy to why this drug was chosen, or,the goals,of,therapy. That said, several agents may improve overall effects including raising the dose, adding other agents, or changing the base drug.

Zoloft (sertraline): Talk with your doctor about first optimizing the Zoloft dose to see if it works better for depression, then if not, supplementing with Buspar (buspirone) is an option.
