Hi everybody. i have been put on buspar (buspirone) 5 mg a day, add-on to my 200mg zoloft. it's been 9 weeks and no change. what can be done.

Tell your doctor: Your doctor is no doubt following you whatever clinical problems you're having, and checking on your response to medication adjustments. You have not told us why you're on these medications or whether your prescribing doctor is a psychiatrist. Generally a psychiatrist would continue to assess your response (or lack of response) with you ; proceed accordingly. See a psychiatrist if you aren't.

Low-dose BuSpar (buspirone): In my experience, 5mg of Buspar (buspirone) is a rather low dose for most people. Also, Buspar (buspirone) tends to have rather subtle effects, compared to the effects of most anti-depressants.
