A member asked:

Since last week, sometimes my right leg and foot are lightly numb. the numbness doesn't last long. is this related to the heart? is it a heart attack?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No to the heart: This is not related to the heart... you do not have a heart attack.... at the present time these short episodes of numbness do not last long and you do not have any other symptoms ... it may may be secondary to temporary decrease in blood flow due to abnormal posturing... if the episodes recur and last several days at the time... t hen, you may ask your doctor. Thanks
