A member asked:

Do i have to check echocardiogram n ecg24hr from faint 2x in 1month? but heart didn't feel hurt/anything, just numbness arms n legs n nausea.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basic work up: Sudden loss of consciousness is a syncope. Basic labs to r/o hypoglycemia and electrolytes imbalance. 2d echo for structural defects of the heart(hcm). Holter for arrhythmias but i will argue that stress test will be better. Eeg sometimes is included. Ct scan/mri brain if any focal neurological signs on exam. Head up tilt table test/lack of beat to beat variability on hr with resp. During exam.
