A member asked:

Is there actual ct color imaging or it the color the result of 3d reconstruction?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Computerized: There is no actual color to CT scanning. It is a density map, usually coded in gray scale. Any color is added by the computer to make the image easier to look at, usually in 3D reconstructions.
