Paryngitis: There may be several reasons for your cough and sore throat including bronchitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis due to infection or allergies with post-nasal drainageor gastric refulx. You may try OTC antihistamine such as Claritin or Allegra as well as ant-reflux meds such Zantac (ranitidine) or Prilosec. If no improvement in a few days consult your doctor.
