Tell us more please: By defintion if your pain has been going on for 2 years, it's is chronic.Tail bone pain known as coccydynia can have a lot of causes,so more info would help.Typically workup will involve seeing a spine specialist for possible imaging. Treatment would include finding a suitable cushion, possible lumbar support for chairs or your car.A course of Physical therapy w/core strengthening & Lidocaine gel.
