Irregular bleeding: Most women don't get a regular period on Implanon/Nexplanon. In fact, the abnormal/irregular bleeding is the most common complaint from the contraceptive. Irregular bleeding is thus normal. If you get heavy bleeding, soaking through a pad an hour for two or more hours then you need to be evaluated.
