A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hypercalcemia: Kidney stones contain calcium and oxalate or phosphate. increased blood levels of calcium, hypercalacemia, are associated with excessive urinary calcium and stone formation. Hypocalcemia is not associated with stone formation as a key component of stones is lacking.
