Check your shoe size: Make sure that your shoes are not causing this swelling from not being wide enough for your foot? At the end of the day this can be more pronounced than when you get up, and are walking around barefoot. If it has been a chronic problem, you need to see your PCP or your podiatrist to have this evaluated further. Since it's bilateral (both feet), it will be easier to treat together & may be simple.

Could be: Many things. As a young person without any significant reported ailments I would be concerned of inflammed bunionettes or bone spurs which can appear in the area you described. If really on both sides, infections, gout/pseudogout, or other forms of noninfectious inflammation are less likely but still possible. I would encouraged you to see a doctor to really provide an adequate evaluation!

Pinky Toeflammation.: There are a lot of possibilities, but only one that fills the bill, shoes. Since it came out of no where, it's the most likely candidate. Easy to test though. simply try another type of shoe.
