Is there any connection between heavy menstrual bleeding and cramps?

Yes: Heavier bleeding is often associated with cramps. If you can take Naproxen (aleve) you can usually prevent a lot of the heavier bleeding and cramping by taking Naproxen before and during the heavier days of your cycle. Follow dosing directions.
