Insect bite: We dont know anything about your age or medical history which makes specific recommendation impossible. Some insect bites such as the brown recluse spider or deer tick can be serious and will need urgent medical attention. You may also have a localized infection of the bite site and may need antibiotics.

Skin infections: Pus filled bumps on the skin are usually the symptom of a skin infection. When they become red, warm to touch and painful it is called cellulitis. Treatment of this includes oral antibiotics and occassionally drainage. See your doctor, because resistant infections are becoming more common and require special treatment.
