Nattokenease: This enzyme is made from fermented soy. It does have anti-clotting properties but it is not know if it is safe and effective for preventing clots. In other words there have not been controlled studies to test it. If you have already had clots I would be leary to use this. I would stay with the known medications your doctor recommends you take. Discuss this with your physician.
