I had a first rib resection 4 months ago and have significant pain in upper back/neck/shoulder pain. is it possible it is muscle spasms from surgery?

Prolonged Post op pain: 4 months post surgery could be spasm. But, usually after 4 months it's probably scar tissue pulling on nerve roots at your brachial plexus or healing at that site
