Go to ER: The numbness in buttocks and vagina (saddle area) along with numbness in legs and feet are suggestive of an emergent condition called cauda equina syndrome. If this is the problem, it can lead to paralysis. Go to emergency room immediately.

Numbness: Numbness covering this much territory makes one consider nerve damage. It is a long shot that straining would cause this, but you never know. It's possible this will clear up soon. If you are having trouble walking, losing control of the bowels or the bladder, or just not feeling well, it would be a good idea to request a check up. Hopefully you will recover very soon!
