I keep coughing really bad every morning but this morning i have been throwing up yellow mucus what does this mean?

Early morning cough: Could reflect post nasal drainage or GERD since they are more likely to be exacerbated by recumbent position. However other causes like CHF, cough variant Asthma could be possible. Evaluation by a PCP will be a starting point

AM cough: Can be reflux or post nasal drip due to reflux/ allergies from lying bascially flat at night .Raise head of bed when sleeping . Could also be indolent infection like mycoplasma which is easily treated with Zithromax .Seek medical attention this week.
