Be prepared: Nerve tissue is not tolerant to damage like many other tissues.It is unlikely for most damaged nerves to regrow or self repair.A year out from TB meningitis,the functional level may be close to what it will be for the future.Therapy can retain some of the functional level and prevent deterioration due to lack of use.I would hope for a stable process, but be prepared for slow decline,not impromnt
