Sad situation: The information is difficult to provide. TB meningitis with cerebral infarcts will cause permanent loss of function in the areas destroyed by the disease. Nerve tissue does not regenerate like many other tissues. At 21, the recovery potential would be much greater than a 40 yo, but still unpredictable. Now that you are a year out from the illness,further progress, if any, may be minimal.
