To determine the : cause of her new neurological sign, your girlfriend really needs to see her doctor for a neurological examination & an MRI of the brain, as well as re-evaluation for active TB anywhere in her body. Two of the possibilities are that TB meningitis can recur within 7-13 months if not adequately treated or lesions called tuberculomas of the brain can enlarge & obstruct flow of cerebro-spinal fluid.
