Very sorry: I am very sorry for you loss. Stillbirth sometimes can be explained but many times it can not. Mend.org is a wonderful resource for those coping with pregnancy loss. Schedule a visit with your doctor to go over the possible causes. Discuss any tests that can be done to plan for the future (phospholipids, coagulation disorders, genetics, autopsy, infections, placental pathology and others)

First of all: I am sorry to hear of your loss. Were you having complications? Why the NSTs? But unfortunately, NSTs really dont help a whole lot at predicting bad outcomes. It is just a snapshot of time of only that moment. Usually, autopsies dont reveal much, but is one of the things that might shed light on the cause. Sometimes, a babies heart can just stop and we dont know why. That is he hardest part
