SI Joint: SI issues can be tricky as they can cause substantial pain but usually do not show up on MRI, CT or Xrays. Back pain the radiates to the buttock, back of the thigh to the knee, groin pain and pain in the front of the thigh can all come from the SI joint. A physical therapist with special training in manual therapy can resolve most SI issues. SI can cause constant pain.
