Get evaluation: This could be related to a persistent infection as well. In any case it would be good to get a blood pregnancy test to double check for that. If not, anyway an exam and tests would help to check for infection. It is possible you skipped ovulation that month as well. If persists another possibility is hormonal imbalance. See your GYN provider for check up.
