Testing : Ask his PCP for a referral to have neuropsychiatric testing done to determine any cognitive deficits or emotional effects by proxy as a result of the stroke. Then use these results of any needed cognitive or emotional support to request in writing from your school district an IEP (individualized educational program- federal rights for child) (504 plans are not enough in medical situations). Best.
