See your doctor: The pressure you are feeling could be the start of contractions. Call you doctor or go to your labor unit as soon as possible

Common: It's common to have increased pressure in the pelvis at this stage, as your baby is getting into position for delivery. This does not mean that you are in labor, however, because this feeling can persist for weeks. However, as your a 40 weeks, your doctor will look at induction within the next week. Good luck!
