Labored breathing: An inhaler is used for inflammation of the airways seen in asthma and bronchitis. That can happen if the infection is now in your lungs. Perhaps the heavy breathing is due to nasal congestion and you have been trying to breath through your nose while asleep. Nasal congestion can be treated with a variety of meds - followup with your doctor.
