IfPainSwellingLump: We don't know what needle you had.The size of needle,the location and what drug or vaccine was injected.Whether it was subcutaneous or intramuscular.And how long after the needle the symptoms sarted.Most local reactions are self limited and local ice and an over the counter painkiller is all you need,But if there is a lump at the site of injection,redness and too much pain then get it checked byMD
