50mg typical start: 50mg is the typical starting dose and it can be increased to 100mg if no response after the first trial of 50mg regimen. Basically it is just a higher dose and using it indicates that your body may need this dose to respond if the first one failed. If you have additional concerns, repost here or consult your doc..Good luck.

Possibly none: If you ovulate reliably on both doses there is no important difference. If you do not ovulate consistently and reliably on 50 mg, moving to 100 mg is a correct next step.
