Be seen: With your history of alcohol abuse your pain could be due to pancreatitis. Pancreatitis is an inflammation of the pancreas and can cause the symptoms you describe. It also cause nausea and vomiting. Another cause of your pain could be gastritis or peptic ulcer. I suggest being seen for a diagnosis and treatment.
