Protrusion in c5-c6, pain in right arm: treatment advise, should i be concerned?

Depends!: A herniated ("ruptured", "protruded") disk can respond nicely to physical therapy and the body's natural healing processes. In my experience it can take weeks to months. In perhaps 10-15 percent of patients, surgery can be needed. Indications for surgery include significant weakness, numbness, persistent pain, pressure on the spinal cord, trouble walking, or failure of conservative management.
